We're incredibly lucky at Cannon & Cannon, because we get to meet, visit and speak with incredible artisan producers AND to eat their brilliant British cured meats on a daily basis as part of our job. We want to share that experience with other people.
So we're extremely pleased to offer 'Meet The Producer' evenings, held at our HQ in Borough Market. At each of these events, we're joined by one of our favourite producers, who will tell the group about their background, how they got into doing what they do, the trials, tribulations and successes. Of course there are plenty of tasters too and a welcome drink to boot.
The evening sessions begin at 19:00. The 'formal' part lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, then we open up the bar and snack counter and *really* get to know the producers.
On Wednesday 16 September we're joined by the wonderful John Doig of Moons Green in Sussex - he of the magnificent Beer Stick (among other favourites).
And on 11 November we're delighted to have the company of James Swift from Trealy Farm Charcuterie in Monmouthshire. A real stalwart of the British cured meat scene.
Tickets are £15 per person and include a welcome drink and meat tasters. As mentioned, the bar is open too and there'll be an opportunity to purchase more meats to eat in and take home.
