Yes that’s right. Meat. And wine. We’re all used to the idea that you have a glass of red with your steak, but as with cheese there are so many different meats, that the wine matching possibilities are vast!
On the Meat and Wine Matching evening we will match six different wines to six different cured meats, explore what works well together and why, and how to get the most out of your food and wine matches.
The matches will include at least some of the following:
- Shiraz with spicy salami
- Chardonnay with cured ham
- Rioja with smoky Chorizo
- Sparkling wine with parma ham
- Chianti with Bresaola
The actual combinations may vary on each night, but we guarantee that each will be delicious! We will also provide a selection of crackers, professional ISO tasting glasses and tasting notes.
