We will be hosting a Mexican Supper Club on Friday 10th May 2013 at Coffee is my Cup of Tea, a vibrant cafe situated under the arches of London Fields train station.
The evening will begin with a complimentary cocktail and will consist of four courses. Expect to try crispy grasshoppers, straight from Oaxaca, tossed in chipotle salt and served on a crunchy tostada, topped with guacamole.
After that we will serve market style barbacos taquitos, served with salsa verde. This will be followed by cochinita pibil, slow cooked pork marinated in citrus juices and spices, a dish that is made in Mexico's Yucatan Penninsula.
To finish the meal off you will be served a spicy Mexican sorbet, with chocolate made from cacao grown in Mexico.
