Another brilliant evening!

Definitely one of the best supper clubs in London both from an authenticity point of view and in terms of value for money.

The London Chaiparty ladies are wonderful hosts and the food is always plentiful and delicious. It's a great opportunity to eat food that you wouldn't generally find in a restaurant in warm and welcoming surroundings. The atmosphere at all the Chaiparty events I've been to has been very jolly and everyone is well looked after.

I can't recommend these events highly enough and am already looking forward to the next one - completely top-notch all round :)

Agomoni- Bengali Supper Club

Rating: 10

Pritilg attended Aagomoni ~ An Evening of Bengali Food in September 2017, reviewed on 17 September 2017

My first experience at a supper club was a very pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch, Suchi and her team were constantly asking if the food was ok and explaining what each dish was when serving.

Food 10/10

Food - Each dish was prepared with extreme care.. the flavours were so authentic I could relate it to a typical Bengali wedding back in Calcutta! From the starters to the dessert we could request for any number of servings and the team made sure we were well fed and looked after! Kosha Mangsho and Dal was my favourites of the evening. The fish fry was absolutely delish!! Very good flavours!

Service 10/10

Service - The service was very warm and informal! The team treated each guest with a lot of care and attention. I had a 5 year old and they made sure he was given enough and yummy kids food .. aprt from the planned menu.. to keep him happy and fed throughout the supper!

Value for money 11/10

Totally worth it for this kind of experience! In fact we all agreed.. it's a steal.. the spread and taste was top notch!!

I would recommend it to others for sure, and I do plan to do it again soon!

The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and explained all the courses and the food was good. I was particularly touched as they were one short on the final dessert due to someone having a dessert in place of an earlier course, and were mortified that there wasn't one for me, even though another diner gave me theirs. As a consequence they insisted on paying for my bottle of gin at the end of the evening - an extremely kind gesture. Thank you very much x

One of the best supper clubs in London

I first went to a London Chaiparty event some time ago and have been looking forward to going back for another one ever since. This event included a gin cocktail pairing to go with the various courses which worked beautifully - gin and Indian spices seem to be a match made in heaven!

We have a very vibrant supper club culture in London and so there are many cuisines, chefs and venues to choose from. Having been to a lot of events over the past years I can say that this is one of the very best supper clubs in London. The ladies at London Chaiparty come from different parts of India and their passion is to introduce diners to food from those regions. This means that you will be eating food that you won't be able to find in any Indian restaurant in the UK and are only likely to try if you're lucky enough to eat in someone's home!

Last night's menu was delicious from start to finish and included several courses as well as little snacks and nibbles. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the company around the table was great too! The London Chaiparty ladies looked after everyone so well and made us all feel very welcome. The food was plentiful and also incredibly good value for money given the generous portions and the gin pairings.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone - very much looking forward to coming along to another one very soon!

It was an amazing experience. Getting all the regional delicacies from India in London is an absolute pleasure. A big thanks to the amazing ladies. Hats off to the effort they have put together. We all could feel the warmth with which they all served us. I would definitely be a part of future supperclubs.

cheers!
