Before we all overdose on Turkey, the next supperclub will be a succulent slow roast shoulder of Lamb. Normally I’d do a nice leg of lamb but at this time of year the shoulder is perfect for slow cooking. As the lamb matures towards mutton and prepares for the harsher winter months, a little more fat develops around the shoulder muscles. And when its cooked over several hours this fat melts into the meat and produces delicious succulent flavours and the meat just falls off the bone.

To Start:
A Nibble & a Tipple to get you in the mood

The Main Event:
Slow Roast Shoulder of Lamb
Sweet Potato Gratin
Braised Red Cabbage
Carrots with Cumin Butter
Honey Roast Parsnips
Wilted Spinach

To Follow Up:
Citrus Pudding with Cream and Ice-cream

Just in Case There Wasn’t Enough:
A selection of Cheese & Biscuits
Organic Fairtrade Coffee & a variety of Teas
Home-made Pistachio Macaroons

Bringing people together to enjoy a proper home-cooked British Sunday lunch, lovingly prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Go on, you know you want to!
