Pop Up Barbados is the perfect expression of real old traditional Caribbean/Creole cuisine. It goes forward to elaborate the diversity and freshness of Caribbean food. My style of cooking has it's own uniqueness and taste. You end up with your mouth full of only fresh tastes and nutrient rich food cooked from scratch and flavors well blended together.

My fish is bought @ 4:00 fresh from Billingsgate Fish Market. I use top free range meat suppliers such as Ginger Pig, McKannas in Clerkenwell and Meat N16. I source my other ingredients from organic stores, farmers markets and exotic fruit and veg suppliers.

I operate a capacity of 25 people each event and that way I get to keep my cooking to the same rich,wholesome and flavorsome way it is meant to be. You also get the chance to meet great people.

This Is What I Call Exotic Caribbean

I wanted to take my girlfriend out for dinner but something a bit different as we got bored having the same options all the time. I did a search on the internet for supperclubs in East London and came across Pop Up Barbados.

One look at the menu and the ingredients the guy was using and I booked straight away. When we got there the apartment where the supperclub is host is very lovely and welcoming. It is unpretentious and everyone felt relax and were very chatty with each other from start.

The chef Barrie may seem not too serious nor pretend to be professional but I guess this is due to his laidback persona but once you try his food, the flavours the quality, the freshness of the fish. All those tropical places I have visited to on holiday came flooding back to my memory.

Word around the table was the same from everyone, my girlfriend was extremely please about my choice for the night. The atmosphere was simple and nice with latino music playing in the background that gave it a nice happy chilled out vibe. At the end Barrie received a loud applause from all the guests. I plan to go back very soon with a group of friends and recommend this to anyone who loves real food.

A friend told me she book a table for me at this Caribbean supper club serving exotic seafood dishes. I thought it would be just the usually Caribbean or seafood dishes but it was actually really exotic cuisine.

I never came across dishes with such depth of exotic flavours, you could taste the quality of the fish was extremely fresh and the ingredients were top quality. I have been back again and also had the chef Barrie cater a private supper club for my birthday and all my guests were amazed.

When you enter the house you instantly feel warm and relax and Barrie along with his partner are very lovely and welcoming host. I recommend you have to try his food.

People say exotic but his food is the real thing.

Why does this have vegan and vegetarian as tags when it is plainly neither. If you can't trust the tags, how can you trust the rest of the description?

In response to your review, if I tagged it as vegan/vegetarian was because there were both those options available on request and it would have said on the event details if you had read carefully. I am sorry if you felt misled when reading but was never intended.

I would have to say you have clearly not been to any of my supperclubs and posting a review like that could be detrimental to my reputation and credits.

I have never had a bad review as far as my cooking is concern and you would see this if you google Pop Up Barbados.

Amazing Creole Cuisine Right Here In Dalston

High end Caribbean food is almost non existent in London but if you get it, you are star struck with some exotic flavours and unique taste. This festive season I am bring you some fine creole dishes in a private dining environment.

This is bring something new to the table and is definitely overdue. We have vietnamese, chinese, british, indian, french, italian, brazilian and I enjoyed them all but there is a longing for some fine creole dishes.

I do hope this tickles you fancy and you may come along to experience something new.
