Sara Ward will welcome you to Hen Corner with fresh coffee and home made treats. After an introduction to our time together you will have opportunity to stroll around the garden visiting the chickens and bees, then off to the conservatory and kitchen to get busy for the day…
A simple home-made lunch whilst the pans are bubbling then pack the preserves into jars and label to enjoy another day.
We are pleased to bring you this London preserving course.
Recipes for the day may include:
- Apple & Chilli Jelly
- New Season Piccalilli
- Garden Chutney
- and others (depending on harvest)
Everyone goes home with recipe sheets and a jar of each preserve that they’ve made
