We really enjoyed the evening, the YaDa team were good hosts and their take on the boniatillo was a novelty for me at least.
Lovely folks, pretty good food

We went the other night and had a really nice evening. The cafe was lovely and intimate and the gents were fantastic hosts. The food is not the most groundbreaking in the world, although the beef is awesome and the Mojitos were some of the best i've had in London!
Great time had and i'd definitely recommend it to all
Polish PopUp

I first heard of PopUps about 1 year ago. Apparently Miami is behind the times. YaDa Chef was organising one for a benefit for a local museum--That was my first, but not my last.
This past June I saw that they would be having a soiree in Winter Haven, just outside Orlando. How great for me as I would be about 45 minutes away. Polish food was fairly unknown to me. Not anymore.
They served 4 courses with 6 foods:
Polewka z Piwa (Beer Soup),Cabbage and Sauerkraut Pierogies ,Babci's Galabki/Galumpki,Mashed Potatoes,Polish Sour Cream Cucumbers.Placek ze Śliwkami (Plumb Cake).
Everything was divine. The Plumb Cake was a HUGE surprise-everyone got 1/2 of a plumb baked into the cake which was rich and delicious. Who would have known. The beer soup made me go and experiment
The best part was when the chef came out to explain about the foods-the server also made for a most informative and informal fun filled night--

YaDa Chef's Mexican Masterpiece-
Rating: 10
I had the pleasure of attending the April event in Cannes when they were guest chefs at La Serviette Blanche.
Yes they said "authentic", but after living so long in Florida you still expect the run of the mill. ---NO WAY was YaDa Chef's food run of the mill. Like they say-no Taco Bell.
This was amazing. I am not a big meat eater, but the plates are tapas style so I figured why not. The food was spectacular, beef was juicy. Carnitas were so good even a hog would eat them (they are pork). If you've never had a fresh made tortilla- you will wonder why. You get to use them on more than one dish.
With any luck I will be able to attend their London bash.
By the way they did one just outside of Orlando-it was a Polish one---again outstanding.
Maybe I should write a review on that too. I feel like a groupie following them from place to place. Give them a try.
