Come join me for yet another round of traditional Nyonya fare. Homely, comforting and wholesome dishes just like my grandma used to make. Here are just some of the dishes featured on the menu:
Achar (Nyonya veggie pickles with spice paste)
Kueh Kledek (Deep fried sweet potato balls with candied melon fillings)
Pong Tauhu (Pork, prawn and beancurd meatballs in a rich, savoury broth)
My signature 16 hrs Slow Braised Ox Cheek Rendang (Slow cooked ox cheek in spice paste and coconut milk)
Babi Chin (Sweet Aromatic Braised Pork with Coriander and Fermented Soy Bean Paste)
Kerabu Kacang Botol (Winged Beans Sambal Salad)
Nasi Ulam (Nyonya Aromatic herbed Rice Salad)
.....plus a few Nyonya kuihs/puddings to round things off
This is a BYOB event so feel free to bring along any drinks that tickle your fancy.
Expect loads of food and do come hungry...you have been warned.
