The classic Bangladeshi pakora is a beautiful thing. Bangla pakoras are typically vegetarian spiced scrumptiously for a simple but addictive starter. Served with a yogurt based tamarind sauce- this will set your dinner party off to a flying start.

After exploring some of the main spices used in Bangla cooking we will prepare and cook a Bangladeshi lamb rogan gosht based on a red meat and a slow-cooking method. This dish truly originates from Mughal royalty and really is something special.  We indulge ourselves further by cooking an amazing chicken biryani.Although a dramatic dish, we will show how easy this is to create.

In the next part of the lesson we will demonstrate how to cook a spicy fish torkari (curry),  a staple in Bangladeshi cooking. We also create an amazing aloo gobi,Bangladeshi style a real all time favourite.

We finish by dining on our creations and know you will walk away with a confident and new perspective on how to cook with spices – the Bangladeshi way!

This class focusses on indulgence for that special occasion.
