Lovely food. Great venue. Excellent service. Good value for money. Ambience also really good - people talk to one another even if they've never met before.

Inspiring evening

I am so pleased I attended this event on Tuesday. Huge thanks to Cynthia from Kitchenette and Laura Gladwin for all her words of wisdom!
I do not have my own food business but am just a really passionate foodie who enjoys creating new recipes. I came away feeling completely inspired to take all of my notes and try to turn them into a book, I even tested another new recipe the next day! Thank you.

Really Interesting and inspirational

Kitchenette Summer

It was such a useful event for all aspirational and budding street food vendors. Talks by Joel of the Good Egg, Hannah of Kimchinary and Petra of KERB gave very useful, interesting and realistic insight into running your own street food business. Thank you Kitchenette!

There should be more of these events in London -really good mix of people, lots of talking and opportunities to share ideas and know how, I enjoyed very much. A nice set up -just wish it had 5 courses instead of 4 to complete the roundabout of peoples on tables. Please organise another one soon again!!

Where's the goat?

Great flavours and friendly staff. It wasn't goat shank but nice alternatives. Food was luke-warm (probably just needed hot plates) and it would be good to have bread or potatoes (we'd have been happy to pay more) to bulk it out into a proper main course. Waitress didn't know anything about the food. Definitely interesting concept and would try it again when hopefully more joined-up.

Piadina e Prosecco

mcgeougn attended Piadina e Prosecco in July 2013, reviewed on 25 July 2013

When we turned off upper street we were transported to a balmy courtyard in Italy with 'lady and the tramp-esque' glasses of breadsticks, little bowls of tangy green olives, red gingham table cloths and that gorgeous sound of chinking glasses and tinkling laughter. I basically had a weekend mini break in Tuscany in about 2.5 hours all facilitated by a steady stream of Apreol Spritz. My classic piadina involved soft layers of parma ham oozing with stracchino cheeses between flaky layers of almost sweet flat bread; a scrumptuous tomato and rocket salad and paramsan coated brocoli were the perfect sides for such a warm evening. Then the tiramisu came. Sweet mother of god. All resolve - gone. Any thoughts of the size of the bottom I was currently using to form a buffer bewtwen my coxic and the wooden bench went out the window. I never really liked cycling shorts as a 'look' anyway! Every mouthful of Tiramisu that went in was involved dragging the spoon out so slowly as if it were magnetically stuck to your tongue and rolling your eyes in your head! Enough said. next time you fancy a trip to Italy there is no need to bother with Ryanair, just get yourself down to the next piadina e prosecco. belissima!
