This is a 4 day hands-on course designed to teach younger students some essential cookery skills, enabling them to feel confident when cooking for family and friends. It will also aid students to become efficient and organised in a kitchen environment.
To celebrate the festive season, the course will contain a series of Christmas recipes to reflect the time of year. Students will master a variety of seasonal dishes and learn some creative ideas for home-made presents.
Each day, under the careful guidance of the Leiths teachers, students cook a two course lunch which they sit down to enjoy. Cooking continues in the afternoon, the results of which can be taken home to impress.
The cost of the course includes Leiths Simple Cookery Bible. A traditional Christmas lunch will be cooked on the last day and students can invite a guest to enjoy the fruit of their labour.
