On the Friday evening the menu will focus on healthy desserts. Try your hand at quinoa cake, beetroot chocolate cake, vegan chocolate mousse and much more… and of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating – so eat you shall and you may just be amazed at how good it tastes without all the bad stuff!
Saturday’s focus is ‘busy lunches for busy lives’. You’ll learn how to make mouthwatering lunches including quinoa salad with roasted vegetables, Moroccan style millet salad with chickpeas, fig bread, creative salads… the list goes on (you’ll learn 4-5 dishes main dishes in total, plus some side dishes).
Not only will you learn lots of delicious recipes, you’ll also learn how to make healthy eating work for you in your daily life. By learning the principles of ingredient overlap and with clever preparation tips, you can gain time and make sure that every meal is bursting with flavour as well as supporting your health and giving you energy.
Running this special workshop is Jo Dombernowsky, the resident chef at Azul Yoga & Pilates Retreat and the author of ‘Truly Healthy, Truly Delicious’. The recipes you’ll be learning are tried and tested favourites from this leading retreat. As a mother of two with a full time job, Jo understands how to incorporate great nutrition in a busy life and she’s passionate about helping others to do the same.
