Speciality Bread No. 1 (full day course)
This class focuses on the basics of how to select the right ingredients to make the perfect bread and the importance and use of each component. We will start with the methods of preparing a variety of dough and breads, including a selection of white and brown loaves and rolls. We will then move on to making a malt fruit loaf, perfect for afternoon tea.
The course will include:
- An introduction into the ingredients and the part they play in making the perfect bread
- How to prepare each dough step by step
- The correct techniques of kneading and proving dough
- Shaping and cutting each bread
All full day courses begin with an introduction by our professional chef tutors who have between them decades of experience within the industry, as well as a complimentary light breakfast of freshly baked pastries, tea and coffee.
Halfway through the day you are invited to sit down for a welcome break and enjoy a complimentary lunch with refreshments while you chat with your fellow classmates
You will be able to take all your breads home with you at the end of the day.
All full day courses run from 10am to 4pm.
Tickets are priced at £115 and include a complimentary light breakfast and lunch.
