Vegetables – seasonal and British – (full day course)
The introduction to the course will be given by our vegetable buyer at New Covent Garden Market, then under the watchful eye of our professional chef tutors we will go on to make various seasonal vegetable dishes that will stand alone from any meat or fish dishes.
On this course you will learn about:
Buying British seasonal vegetables at their peak
The best of British, cooking techniques and dishes using seasonal vegetables
The effect that eating vegetables and the “5 a day” has on your body
Braising and roasting a selection of vegetables
Quick, easy vegetable snacks with accompanying sauces and dips
Tickets are priced at £100
At the end of the course you will be able to sample the dishes you’ve cooked. Complimentary refreshments are included.
