At Rajiv's Kitchen we believe in bringing people together to enjoy authentic Nepalese home cooked cuisine,  while providing a fun, friendly and attentive service.

The event includes 4 course Nepalese meal ( Pre-starter, Starter, a variety of main dishes to share & a dessert), a welcome drink, 3 cocktails and cocktails making class. 

We are joining hands with the cocktail guru, David Hamilton from Organic Spirit, who was recently crowned the winner at " Luxardo 2014 UK Champione" cocktail competition. There will be cocktail making classes in between the courses, where you will get to make 3 of your own delicious & unique cocktails . All the cocktails are designed to compliment the menu.

The menu for this event includes:

Complimentary Welcome Drink: A glass of Prosecco Lychee Bellini

PRE-STARTER:

Chicken Momos served with spicy tomatoes & sesame sauce.

1ST COCKTAIL:

Chamomile and Pink Grapefruit MartiniChamomile infused gin shaken with pink grapefruit juice and a hint of vanilla, served in a martini glass.

STARTER:

Sticky Lamb ribs, marinated in Nepalese herb & spices, served with hemp seed chutney.

2ND COCKTAIL

Spiced Cranberry Mule: Spiced rum mixed with dry cranberry juice and a splash of lime juice.

MAIN COURSE

Khasi ko Maasu: Nepalese goat curry, slow cooked with Nepalese herb & spices.

Chicken Chili: Marinated chicken, cooked with capsicum, green chillies and Nepalese spices. 

Kukhura ko achaar: Spicy & tangy Chicken pickle, Nepalese style. (Served at room temperature)

Farsi ko tarkaari: Nepali Pumpkin curry cooked with mustard, cumin & ghee.

Jogi tarkaari: Mixed seasonal vegetable curry. 

Aloo ko achaar: Potatoes,Cucumber & carrot fresh pickle with Shiso seeds. 

****Main is served with paratha bread/fragrant rice.

3RD COCKTAIL

White Chocolate Mojito: White chocolate syrup,lime, mint and light rum, all muddled together and lengthened with soda.

DESSERT

Cardamom infused vanilla ice cream served with summer berries, pomegranate & topped with sesame dust.

Note:  We use fresh local produce/ingredients bought on the same day for our cooking.

If you are vegetarian or have any food allergies, please inform us in advance so we can improvise our menu to suit your needs.

VENUE: Hackney E5( 2 mins from Clapton station, 5-7 mins walk from Hackney Downs and 15 mins walk from Hackney Central)

Buses: 38, 48, 55, 56, 106, 254, 393, 425 & 488. 

(The venue is situated above the best-loved corner shop in Lower Clapton: Palm 2; offering a cozy & relaxed atmosphere.)

Direction: When you enter the Palm2 shop, make your way to the wine section, go out the door (located by wine section) and up the stairs where the venue is.
