At Rajiv's Kitchen we believe in bringing people together to enjoy authentic Nepalese home cooked cuisine, while providing a fun, friendly and attentive service. Christmas is here and we are back with a Christmas inspired menu for one special night of traditional Nepalese festival food. In true Rajiv's Kitchen style, this night will be a joyous & gastronomic occasion. So put your party shoes on & help us celebrate this Christmas, Nepalese style! 

You are all invited to come and feast on our 3 course Christmas feast ( No turkey or brussel sprouts to be seen!!!!)

So lets eat, drink and get merry!

MENU:

Complimentary Welcome drink: Prosecco Lychee Belini 

Starter:

Chicken/Veg momos: Bitesized Nepalese dumplings, served with sesame & tomato dipping sauce.

MAIN: 

( To share)

Kathmandu CurryBraised Mutton curry, cooked with cashew nuts & cashew paste. 

Kukhura Ko Achaar: Tangy & spicy Chicken pickle cooked with fennel & coriander seeds and mango powder. 

Paneer Ko Tarkaari: Paneer & Capsicum chilli. 

Jogi Tarkaari: Mixed  seasonal vegetable curry

Achaar: Cucumber and carrot pickle, tempered with hemp seeds.

Chukauni: Potatoes & yoghurt salad with sweet red onions, fresh green chillies & coriander, tempered with fenugreek & fenugreek flavoured oil. ( Served room temperature)

****Main is served with fragrant rice/paratha bread.

DESSERT:

Cardamom infused vanilla ice cream, served with mixed berries, pomegranate & topped with sesame dust & sugar shard.

Venue: The Retailery, 80-84 Market Place, Romford, RM1 3ER ( The venue is first of it's kind in Romford, a business incubator with a twist; only 15 mins on a train from Liverpool Street & just under 7 mins from Stratford and only 5 mins walk from the Romford station)

This is NOT a BYOB event as there is a not for profit bar on site, run by Made Public company; all the profits from the bar goes back to the community through art & culture. The drinks are reasonably priced ( e.g. £3 for a pint....BARGAIN!!!!)

Note:We use fresh local produce/ingredients bought on the same day for our cooking.

If you are vegetarian or have any food allergies, please inform us in advance so we can improvise our menu to suit your needs.
