Food tells a story: a story of love, of togetherness, of one's heritage and culture. 

This time, Rajiv's Kitchen is taking you on a culinary journey to Nepal, alongside live jazz music by talented Eden Bishop-Jones, who has appeared on The X-factor and The Voice UK. We will be serving a 4 course Nepalese Vegan feast with a complimentary welcome cocktail. As usual, our aim is to bring people together to enjoy authentic Nepalese home cooked cuisine, while providing a fun, friendly and attentive service. The diverse dishes and new flavours provide as much feast for the mind as the mouth. 

A percentage of profits from this evening will go to Mind Havering Charity who are working relentlessly to provide services to people living in Havering, and the surrounding area who may be experiencing problems with their mental wellbeing. They also campaign for better services, deliver training and raise awareness of mental health.

This evening will be perfect as a treat to all the lovely mommas out there as a Mother's Day gift as well. 

MENU:

Complimentary Welcome Drink: Prosecco Lychee Bellini

PRE-STARTER:

Momos: Vegan momos, served with spicy tomatoes & sesame dipping sauce.

STARTER:

Sprouts Geda Gudi: Mix of sprouted beans ( soaked for over a week), partly  marinated in perilla seeds & tomato sauce and partly in tamarind & chilli sauce; served with roasted courgettes.

MAIN:

Bhyanta: Flame roasted eggplant, cooked in mustard seeds and Nepalese herbs & spices.

Hariyo Saag: Mix of different greens cooked with fresh ginger.  

Cauli: Cauliflower & potato curry. 

Jogi Tarkaari: Mixed vegetables cooked with Nepalese herbs & spices

Aloo Ko Achaar: Potatoes, carrots & cucumber pickle, tempered with hemp seeds.

**MAIN IS SERVED WITH FRAGRANT RICE/PARATHA BREAD

DESSERT:

Home made vegan mango sorbet served with seasonal berries & pomegranate.

Note:  We use fresh local produce/ingredients bought on the same day for our cooking.
If have any food allergies, please inform us in advance so we can improvise our menu to suit your needs. 

Venue:  80-84 Market Place, Romford, RM1. Only 20 mins on a train from Liverpool Street & 15 mins from Stratford ( under 10 mins via fast train) and only 7-10 mins walk from the Romford station.
