In the Summer of 2013, Tacochu I launched as a street food stall cooking Taco Rice – a scrumptious Japanese / Tex-Mex hybrid dish native to Okinawa. As the summer drew to a close, Tacochu evolved into a monthly supper club offering a Japanese-inspired menu in a relaxed, social environment.

My cooking style is influenced by my Japanese and French parents who are both great home cooks, and from whom I have inherited my love for chilli peppers and respect for the power of simple, honest food paired with good company. The menu varies every time but it’s always based on Japanese comfort cooking, with my own twist on each dish. Chu’s supper clubs are inclusive, casual and friendly so grab a friend and a bottle of sake and join us for our next event!
