On Saturday 8th February 2014 join us to help raise money for some wonderful charities in the unique setting of a hidden historical gem in Liverpool.

The international support for the victims of typhoon Haiyan was overwhelming. Let's continue what we have started and show them that we haven't forgotten.

For £30 a ticket, you will have a 3 course set menu introducing you to a new dining experience, a chance to participate in a typical Filipino game and have contributed all profits to the seaweed farmers at Caluya Islands (https://www.facebook.com/operationseaweedcaluya) as well as locals in Capiz & Iloilo (https://m.facebook.com/healhurting).

The Williamson Tunnels are also offering a discounted rate for a tour of the tunnels prior to the main event.

Entrance at 7.00 pm, first course served at 7:30 pm.

A cash bar will be available serving Filipino inspired cocktails and other drinks.

PANG-SIMULA

Lumpia (Spring Rolls)

  • Sariwa ~ shredded chicken & crispy vegetables cocooned in a fresh spring roll wrapper layered with lettuce leaves & generously drizzled with a peanut & garlic sauce.
  • Shanghai ~ traditionally long, thin & generously filled with minced pork & carrots. Accompanied by a white vinegar, chilli & garlic dip.

Misua at Sardinas

A comforting soup in the winter months made with sardines & misua noodles, topped with fresh spring onions & chicken crackling.

ULAM

~ Served with rice ~

Munggo Guisado

This is a hearty stew, showcasing the earthy flavour & texture of mung beans cooked with ginger, garlic, onions & vegetarian sausages.

Bicol Express

Not one for the faint hearted, a coconut pork curry cooked with shrimp paste and laden with unapologetically copious amounts of birds eye chillis. There will be a pint of milk ready for the unprepared!

Adobong Manok

Unmistakably the dish that every Filipino living overseas yearns for! Chicken cooked in vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves & whole black peppercorns.

PANG-MATAMIS

Leche Flan at Piña

Crème caramel with salt & pineapple brittle and a sprinkling of toasted coconut.

Vegetarian options are available. Please contact kusinanilola@gmail.com for a menu.
