I attended my first supperclub this weekend and was blown away by the entire experience.

The combination of the unusual venue, transformed inside into a magical, sparkling dining room, the excellent quality food and the friendliness of the hosts was fantastic value for money and an evening to remember.

It was clear that the chef and hosts had put a lot of thought into every aspect of the evening - from the room decorations, the introduction of the courses and the beautiful table settings, to their costumes, the music and the food itself. As someone who eats out a lot, I was seriously impressed by the standard and creativity of the food - particularly enjoying the seafood dumpling and the rhum baba courses. To cater for a large group of people, present every plate beautifully and still be smiling at the end of a long evening is mightily brilliant.

Only a couple of recommendations - wrap up warm as it's a tad chilly, don't be put off by the exterior of the building, and make sure that you ask for water.

Thanks to the team for a great experience.

Rebecca and the team at Song's Kitchen stepped in at the last minute to rescue my 30th birthday party when my original venue cancelled. In less than three weeks, she took my ideas for food, wine and decor to a level far beyond my expectations, delivering wines exactly matching my hastily-emailed tastes and inventive, delicious food that I and my guests very much enjoyed lingering over. The decor and design was bang on what we had discussed, with some extra theatrical flourishes that made it a truly memorable experience. Although my evening was a private party, I know the supper followed exactly the same format, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rebecca and the Song's Kitchen team for both an extraordinary supper club experience and excellent private catering.
