Join pioneering eco-kitchen Made in Hackney and leading French jar company Le Parfait for a preserving masterclass with chef Alexis Gabriel Ainouz.
This three-hour preserving cookery class will be a fun, informal and accessible introduction to the lost Art of preserving.
Using seasonal, organic and plant-based ingredients, Chef Ainouz will guide participants through the basic techniques of preserving and more advanced tips and tricks. The class is perfect for the novice beginner or more experienced cook who wants to learn how to make beautiful vegetables preserves that make the most of the abundant harvest season.
Sample preserves made in the class will include:
- Winter Squash, Sweet Chestnuts and Sage Veloute
- Moroccan Orange and Mint Jam
- Vegetable Fricasse with Cashews
Each attendee will get to take their delicious preserves home in beautiful Le Parfait jars.
