DINING CLUB WITH SARA DANESIN MEDIO
This is your opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal cooked for you by BBC MasterChef finalist Sara Danesin Medio and award-winning chef and cookery teacher Rachel Davies or Rachel's Kitchen. We are hosting a series of Dining Clubs, where you can experience wonderful food and great company. We look forward to welcoming you!
Tickets for the dining club are £60 per person which includes a 4-course meal, tea and coffee.
When booking, we require the full amount and unless reasonable notice is given, cannot be refunded. This is to cover the ingredients and staff costs that will help make the evening memorable. We trust guests will understand.
Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance. We cannot, however, cater for ‘dislikes’.
Everyone will be seated at a large communal table, as a dining club is as much about delicious food as it is about conviviality and meeting new people who share a passion for good food.
The Club is BYOB as it is not a licensed premise. We have a wine cooler should you need it.
Menus and logistics (address, directions) are sent out a day or two before the event.
To introduce Sara, she grew up in a traditional Italian family, with two foodie parents. Food has always been a part of Sara and getting to the final of MasterChef UK 2011 provided her with the platform from which to pursue her culinary dream. The competition taught Sara a wide range of skills and introduced her to some of the best chefs in the world. Most importantly, MasterChef confirmed her ethos as a chef, that simplicity and using just a handful of the finest, and wherever possible locally sourced ingredients, can create modern, stylish Italian cuisine.
Sara runs Sara @ St John’s, York’s first Supper Club which has had over 10000 guests, teaches at some of the country’s most prestigious schools, is a private chef in the UK and France and regularly attends stages at Michel Roux’s Le Gavroche in London.
Whatever she does, Sara’s passion for food is obvious from the minute you meet her and has a passionate ability to transfer knowledge, her key strength in a cookery school environment. Sara and I share a love of good food, and I do hope you can join us for this very special dinner.
