Veteran butchers Perry and Borut conduct pork classes, lamb classes, beef classes and sausage making classes at Ginger Pig's Marylebone premises. They usually talk you through Ginger Pig's animal raising practices, animal anatomy and tips for buying value for money meat, before getting you involved in some hands on action. The class ends with everyone sitting down for a feast and students taking home cuts they worked on in the class.

Last summer four friends and I (including one good natured vegetarian) took the sausage making class at the Ginger Pig. We had an outrageously good time, making lewd jokes and getting our hands dirty making two types of sausage. The meal at the end of the evening was delicious, including the best bread pudding I've ever eaten. We also took home A LOT of sausage (See photo: http://bit.ly/ps5FGH). Good times, thoroughly recommend.
