We will be serving our delicious Ethiopian/ Eritrean traditional cuisine at the amazing wine bar- The Cage, Reigate. You can expect to sample some of our unique and exotic dishes added with Abycina’s excellent creativity and a healthy twist such as Shiro Wot, Toomtoomo Wot, Zigni Wot and Alicha. All very unique and delicious traditional platters made with lots of herbs and spices will be served with the famous (gluten free) Ethiopian sour flatbread, Injera.
Guests will receive a 3 course meal and a complementary homemade Ethiopian honey wine at arrival.
The starter will include a 3 types of Injera warps- Atakilti Dish (All vegan)
- Stuffed with Zucchini Alicha
- Stuffed with Carrot Alicha
- Stuffed and Potato Alicha
Main course will be a veggie and meat combo platter comprise of 4 different types of dishes. Guests can also choose the vegan option which also includes 4 different types dishes.
All will be served in the traditional style on a 'plate' of injera, with which to eat your selected dishes.
Desert- Bun Cake- an Ethiopian coffee cake made with an Ethiopian roasted coffee beans.
