It's December, which means sugar, spice and all things nice in our baking! How about learning to make your own Christmas gifts to impress the relatives over the festive period! During 3.5 hours you will bake mince pies with crumble topping in addition to sweet pastry lids, gift sized stollen loaves and a chocolatey buche de noel (or chocolate log!) with woodland decorations.
You will learn lots of techniques about working with different ingredients, including chocolate work, piping and working with delicate fatless sponges. All the recipes from the day are to be taken away at the end, along with everything made in class.
This is a fabulous way to spend an afternoon with friends, getting into the festive spirit!
