Raw Food Journey - An Indulgent Popup  by Funky Gourmet   

Date & Time: 25th January 2015, 5.30pm 

Location: Maida Hill Place, 4 Fernhead Road, London W9 3ET 

Price: £50 per person - 5 course raw & vegan & gluten-free meal.  

***Maida Hill Place is fully licensed and drinks menu is available at the venue.

5 Course Set Menu

  • Cucumber Consommé

Cucumber broth, Seaweed & Cucumber Pickles, Gazpacho Sorbet, Wakame Crostini 

  • Cultured Macadamia Cheese 

Pink Pepper Corns, Balsamic & Fig Compote, Grissini

  • Sweet Potato Rösti & Shitake Croquette

Sesame Mushrooms, Truffle Cream, BBQ sauce

  • Sorbet

Yuzu & Pear Sorbet with Prosecco

  • Wine Poached Pear Torte

Lucuma & Almond Crust, Amaretto Cream, Candied Pistachios

Fatih Guven is the head chef and founder of Funky Gourmet catering, based in London. Fatih has more than 15 years of culinary expertise across Europe. During his journey, Fatih had opportunity to work with amazing chefs and had also worked with Chad Sarno and David Bailey. As raw & vegan head chef, he worked in SAF at Zerwick in Munich, SAF Shoreditch and SAF Kensington, in London. Fatih, now, works as a personal and private chef, preparing meals for his clients according to their special nutritional requirements. He caters for events, weddings and birthdays.
