This dinner had all the requisite ingredients for a great chinese meal: good company, vigorous interaction with food (competitive salad tossing), and ubiquitous pork. From pork jerky, to vegetables cooked in lard, to pork braised in pork, even the dessert (black sesame dumplings - tang yuan) featured lard. That's my kind of meal!
Goz and the team cooked their hearts out and delivered a great feast and excellent hospitality.
