SASSAFRAS isn’t about the fuss. We’re all about the food. We hold supper clubs serving authentic New Orleans cuisine with a Great British Twist.
Our tailor-made menu features a feast of unique Creole/Cajun flavours, carefully prepared by our Head Chef, Llewyn. His legendary gumbo is culinary voodoo magic and each dish delivers a real taste of NOLA’s rich food culture.
So far we’ve held five supper clubs at three different locations with the first one hitting London Fields in early June to much enthusiasm and loosened belts. Following on from that we held a spicy crawfish boil on a large ship in St Catherine’s dock and then dined al fresco on a Deptford rooftop, overlooking the London skyline.
