The return of the legendary wine drinking party known as ‘Drink the List’ – which is also the stated ambition of the evening. We open all the bottles of wine from our main list (not the historically cellared reserve list or magnum list which we only have one of each…) upstairs in our lovely mini ballroom dining room and you help yourselves to whatever you choose to consume. You can work your way rigorously across grapes, terroirs, price points and styles learning as much as you can in the available time – or stand by the bar and drink two bottles of £70 Montrachet whilst gossiping about your friends’ prodigious tinder-fuelled love lives.
There will be some food served – principally good piggy stuff like sausage rolls and rillettes that stop you falling over and help prolong your drinking capacity; but then you can go home and claim you’ve been ‘out for dinner’. Oh…and we schedule it at the start of the bank holiday weekend so you can indulge with reckless abandon…

Please note – traditionally we do DTL after a semi annual review of our wine list to introduce the new list to our guests; the list currently on the website is indicative therefore not exactly what we will serve - but we do serve the list that is in force at the time of the event which should be even better…
