hosted by AWC Wine Academy
For one evening only AWC Wine Academy will transform into a Wine Safari where guests will navigate through stations of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Bordeaux Blends, Rhône Blends and Chenin Blanc.
Winemakers at each table will lead you through a blind wine challenge of 5 wines, some of which may be French classics others premium South African wines. To help you discover how New World wines compare to their French counterparts.
Could you taste the difference between top end Burgundy White and Red, Bordeaux, Rhone and Vouvray when they’re paired blind against the powerful, robust and fruit forward wines of South Africa?
Join us for what should be an eye-opening and educational lesson on just how far this New World wine country has come and how it relates to the vinous French reference points we know and love.
