Mastering the art of cake decorating is the difference between amateur and professional-looking bakes. Aimed at beginners, this class focuses on decorating with different types of icing, how to use them and highlights techniques to get the results you want.
This chef-led, hands-on class kicks off showing you how to decorate a basic sponge with various types of icing, including making butter cream and royal icing as well as tackling how to frost cupcakes. You’ll learn how to cover cakes successfully, how to use a piping bag and nozzles, how to pipe shapes and letters and how to frost with supreme confidence.
By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills to take away to transform a basic sponge into a bespoke masterpiece created by you! Caution: this course is a friends and family favourite!
