Nat•ive was founded by Ivan Tisdall-Downes and hosts Pop up restaurants focusing on an urban/country fusion of modern British cuisine and Country thrift. Highlighting artisan British produce, in particular rare breed meats, game and foraged foods. I utilise traditional British ingredients and deliver them to the diner in ways that they will not have seen before by introducing innovative flavour combinations, modern cooking techniques, forgotten ingredients, nose to tail dining and mind boggling presentation all built upon a back bone of simple fresh local ingredients.

The sole reason for running pop up events is my love of food, cooking for people, showing off wonderful, unique ingredients and build upon the knowledge I have developed through working with companies such as River Cottage. Furthermore pop ups allow me to test new dishes and spread the nat•ive concept.

This was honestly the best night i've had in a very long time. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was well prepared, presented and tasted out of this world. Their creativity and passion for food was abundant through each meal & I can't wait for the next one already. Native is definitely a name we should all get used to hearing!

I thought it was a really fun evening but the food was a bit disappointing to be honest.

We were invited to the dead dolls house by family, and treated to an exquisite meal by the pop up company Native - the food was superb and I would certainly recommend going again. We were really please with the event.
