Hello, I am Silvana and I am an artisan pasta maker.
I grew up in Napoli in a family of pasta makers, and my grandmother -Rosa- taught me all the secrets of professional pasta making ever since I was a small child.
I specialise in the dying art of making pasta entirely by hand, which is the only way of creating unique shapes and to achieve superiour taste.
I started Tutti a Tavola last year because I love making pasta, is part of me and cannot see myself doing anything else. It's also for me important to pass on this ancient tradition that is slowly dying -even in Italy- due to the lifestyle becoming more and more frantic: making pasta by hand is not only fun, but also extremely relaxing.
