The Lop Eared Pig


Chef Tim Zekki has spent many years as a chef in Italian restaurants, and later specialising in tapas and mediterranean food, with a particular interest in the food of his homeland, Cyprus.

In 2009 Tim set up a deli in South West London. Within seven months customers had voted Tim onto the shortlist of Gary Rhodes’ Local Food Hero on TV. The deli was a popular venue for secret supper style dinner parties.

In 2013 Tim opened a pop up restaurant, The Lop Eared Pig, originally held in an old tractor barn and guest cheffed at a successful pop up, in an old Temperance Hall. He’s now working on new pop ups, in new locations.
