Weekend Brunch

Lovely, homemade brunch in a lovely little space. In a city full of restaurants that serve terrible faux-Indian food, Dhaba Lane dishes out excellent, true-to-mom Indian classics in a wonderfully homey atmosphere. The space would also do very nicely indeed for little group events, books readings and so on. Two thumbs up.

The most awesome brunch club!

We went as a big group when Dhaba Lane launched their Brunch Club. The food was delicious and the servings were super-generous. The food just kept coming!

We started with a big serving of Upma (semolina) which was beautifully cooked and perfectly soft. I had the keema pav next and can definitely vouch for it being the best keema served in London! The chicken parantha was very tasty and filling and reminded me of a home-cooked meal! We wrapped it up with some kheer. Very well made and beautifully presented. The masala chai and the mango lassi kept on coming!

I would highly recommend you book yourself on the next brunch club for an experience of home-cooked goodness!

I took my folks and sister for this supper club and we are a family of foodies with high expectations . The experience did not disappoint us! It was excellent overall with the food being sumptuous , authentic and with hearty portions. The restaurant is cosy with a lot of personality . The servers and chef were available to explain things to us if needed without being overbearing . The weather was a bit of a damper but the dining experience made it worthwhile. Thoroughly recommended!

A simple setup, but rich experience

I had the pleasure of attending a Dhaba Lane supper club late last year and was delighted by it. You rarely find dishes quite as authentic as the ones we were treated to - it was a real feast for the taste buds.

I've also eaten a number of times at their street food stalls and always walked away happy and full. I would recommend this supper club to anyone.

At long last I have a place to eat in London when I'm missing my mum's food back in India!! I went to a dinner event organised by Dhaba Lane and came back with my heart humming with contentment. The setting was intimate, cosy and casual - telling its diners that this is all going to be about the food. And sure did the food deliver. The chicken and lamb curries were full of flavour but thankfully not drowning in oil as is often the case with Indian restaurant food. It was the parathas that really blew me away though. Every north Indian has their own intimate memories of home cooked stuffed parathas - which are meant to be hand rolled and served fresh off the pan while they are still crispy and steaming hot. These were just that! Generously filled with spicy stuffing – yum, yum, yum! Upma and Arti, thanks so much for setting up this new food heaven! On the night they were the perfect hosts – attentive and bubbly but not intrusive, giving us the space to connect with our friends and make new ones. Needless to say I highly recommend a visit!
