hosted by Dhaba Lane
Enjoy a sumptuous Indian afternoon tea and support London’s homeless communities at the same time.
On Saturday 28 March, Dhaba Lane will be serving a one-off charity teas-up in Hackney as part of the Spring Up For Homelessness event, which is raising money for The Big Issue.
About The Big Teas-Up
Dhaba Lane will be working with Spring Up to raise money for homeless charities in their own unique way – with an epic Indian afternoon tea. Course after course of finger sandwiches, chai bites and sweets will be served with bottomless chai in the atmospheric surrounds of St John’s church in Hackney Central.
About Dhaba Lane
Found on every highway across India, the quintessential Indian roadside shack or ‘Dhaba’ serves refreshing Chai (Tea), local snacks, and delicious home-cooked meals to travellers and truckers alike. Dhabas have long since served as local gathering spots to all, cutting across boundaries. A warm and welcoming home-away-from-home to every passerby. Our Vision is to be the ‘dhaba of choice’; a home-away-from-home.
