Not all supperclubs have to be in far away, hard to reach Zone 4 basement flats! The Compulsive Foodie opens up her 9th floor Central London flat to you.  Enjoy the views of The Shard and The London Eye whilst dining on delicious fusion cuisine in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Your dinner will be served to you by a real food lover, a chef who draws from her extensive travels, cultural background & Cheffing experience for her innovative food creation.  For this Fusion supperclub, Rahima will draw from her heritage and diverse cultural background – born in East Africa into an Indian family & having lived in France, this dinner will feature delicious Indian cuisine with East African & French twists.  


Expect a very unusual but mouthwatering menu with 4-5 delicious courses.  In addition, especially for the Oenophiles, a suggestion of wine pairings will be emailed in advance. 


Here are some sample dishes (I will choose 4 courses from here, and maybe throw in a couple of surprises):

Mango Infused Vodka Pops –  candy for grown ups!

Chicken Kalyo:  slow cooked chicken in a rich tomato base

Masala maachi - marinated cod in a spicy and rich tomato sauce baked in the oven with potatoes

Naryal Vaaro Mogo – a unique East African dish -  Cassava in coconut cream with an Indian twist

Curried Corn – a typical East African dish with a twist from the Sub-continent.  Betcha can’t have just one serving!

Roasted Okra – an Indian dish with a Mediterranean twist

Mango & Cardomom Shrikand with Pistachio Tuilles– yoghurt based dessert from Gujerat with a French twist, using saffron, the world’s most expensive spice!

Lychee Pannacotta with a Vimto jelly, pomegranate & rose perfume

Masala Chai – brewed to perfection. Move over Starbucks Chai latte!


Note:  My dishes tend to be medium spicy, allowing for guests to rack it up a notch or two with the chutneys, so don't worry your mouth won't be on fire, unless you want it to!  This dinner is a BYO event.

This was my firet ever supper club and I'm really glad that I got to have it with Rahima. Not only was she an amazing cook (the food was incredible and I could go into detail about each of the four courses and the many different dishes of the main course), but she was the friendliest host!

I'll stop waxing lyrical and say that everyone should have the opportunity to ahve a meal with a great view, the nicest host, with some cassava, fish, curried corn, lychee panna cotta....
