Eat, drink and get crab cracking! To welcome in the lunar new year come join us at our CNY pop up at Darjeeling Express. The star of our menu will be our signature Chilli Crab where we take the freshest of crabs, infuse them in our signature sauce with with lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves, birds eye chilli, torch ginger and laksa leaves and serve with soft, pillowy, deep fried mantou buns. Also on the menu are some of our other greatest hits - Yee Sang, Butter Prawns and steamed whole seabass. In previous years our CNY Banquets have sold out very fast.

The food was extremely delicious, authentic and tastes exactly like how it's cooked at home! I really liked how Yolanda took the time to explain each dish and the traditions/meaning behind each course so the diners can appreciate the roots and culture of Chinese New Year. The dishes were sharing dishes and portions were extremely generous! That was my main meal of the day! Definitely will attend other events by Yolanda and team, and come back for this next year! The chili crab sauce still makes me drool!

A truly Scrumptious CNY Banquet with Malaysian influence

Having had the opportunity of attending several of Wild Serai Supper Clubs, I look forward eagerly to celebrate CNY with a groups of friends. Two of whom were new to Wild Serai Supper Club & they were totally impressed by the excellent quality of the Seafood.
The Giant Indonesian Prawn Cracker was served with a spicy Malaysian Sambal. The Yee Sang (Yu Sheng) Prosperity Salad was beautifully Presented - it was so much fun to toss the salad as high as possible to bring good luck, good health, prosperity, success & good wishes to each other. Tis tasty combination of fresh Salmon Sashimi Salad was so delicious!
The Malaysian Chilli Crab was so flavoursome & the Fried Mantou Buns soaked up the mouthwatering sauce. I totally love the buttery & flavoursome Madagascar King Prawns Fried with Curry Leaves, Chillies & Cereals. Every crumb disappeared from the plate.
The Steamed Whole Sea Bass was cooked to perfection & combined with the Stir Fried Asian Greens (such incredibly tasty mushrooms), went hand in hand with the Steaned Jasmine Rice.
I thoroughly enjoyed the handmade Mochi (Glutinois rice flour dessert filled with Red Beans, Black Sesame Seeds & Crushed Peanuts), the perfect dessert.
I am looking forward to the next Wild Serai Supper Club & hope to bring more friends to share the top quality food, generous serving, helpful & attentive service.

I went with five other friends to celebrate CNY. We were blown away by the hospitality and the copious amounts of delicious, high-quality food. I regularly eat at Michelin-star restaurants, and this banquet was the better (in quality, quantity and hospitality) than many others where I paid more than double the price. The food was all authentic, with high-quality and fresh seafood ingredients. The home-made mochi dessert was delightful also. We were attended to regularly as well, getting plenty of water for the table without having to ask for it, as well as tissues and baby wipes pos-crab eating. Thank you Team Wild Serai!

This was a wonderful experience. We had never attended a pop up dinner and were so happy we decided to go. A highlight of our time here. The meal was delicious, plentiful, well executed, beautifully presented, and served with warmth and care and attention to detail. It was a packed house but the small crew kept food and drinks and water and wet naps (we were not shy with the crab legs!) flowing so smoothly. It was like eating at a really well run restaurant but in the company of what feels like close friends and family. Atmosphere was convivial and educational, but we felt like we had space and privacy too. Can't wait to go again and bring along some friends who have never eaten this type of food before. I am a Malaysian food convert (especially those Butter Prawns, wow)!

Future events kindly organised a more convenient place. Also, tables arrangement can be more can be more sensitive especially for those come as individuals.

Authentic Malaysian Cuisine

This chef really understands βtasteβ which to me is the most important element of dining.. Each dish was so delicious, even though Iβm no expert on Malaysian cuisine. The crab was exquisite and the prawns equally so. I could hardly manage the steamed seabass! Good company was an added bonus. Will definitely return here.
