We will focus on how to fit making your own bread into a busy life. Who has the time to knead dough after work every day, let alone wait for it to rise twice before you bake it? At this class you will learn cunning techniques and recipes for making your own delicious bread effortlessly, and without using a bread machine!

After this hands-on intensive workshop you will have the confidence to make a range of breads, and know how to fit them into a busy life with ease:

classic white boules

wholegrain bread with nuts and seeds

olive & rosemary focaccia

tomato & mozarella pizzette

no-knead crusty sourdough

malted rye tin loaf

You will work with a range of top quality organic and stoneground flours including wholewheatrye, malted and spelt.

What’s more you will go home with a homemade bread-making kit specially sourced by Anna which will include all the essentials you need to get going immediately, even your own tub of bread dough to last you the week and wooden peel for loading bread into the oven. Plus of course there will be plenty of the freshly baked bread you have made to take home.

The workshop includes a delicious seasonal lunch showcasing different types of bread. You can see pictures from last year’s Home Bread workshops here.

"The bread course was life changing – I haven’t bought bread since as I’ve been making my own… and it’s much nicer.”

"I thought it was great value for money and it more than met my expectations. I learnt more than I’d hoped. Loved the fact that we came away with options for very quick dinners as well as breads. Fridge dough is a revelation.”

"Since the course I did with you on basic bread-making, I have become the family baker – there are six of us, and I bake anything up to eight loaves a week! The children love the fresh bread and beg me not to stop. And it’s a source of great pleasure.”

My husband and I attended Anna's Home Bread Workshop and cannot recommend it highly enough. We really really enjoyed the whole day and learnt so much - Anna is a fantastic teacher and fits so much in to the day. Anna has a really lovely personality and makes everyone feel at ease and at home in her beautiful kitchen. We really enjoyed sharing experiences with the other participants too. It was such a treat to sit and eat a delicious lunch together and then to take the bread which we had baked home to enjoy. Anna's teaching has taken our bread making to another level and we are so enjoying the new experience of making sour dough.
Thank you so much Anna. We are now looking forward to coming to see you in Croatia.

Anna's home bread workshop was such an enjoyable and value for money experience. Having tried making sourdough myself and not always getting it right, I have now learnt with Anna simple techniques to have success in every batch. Plus, she taught us the easiest 5 minute dough that can live in the fridge for up to a week and you can produce delicious focaccias, pizzas, boulle and naans in a flash. Since the course last Sunday I have produced 4 beautiful loaves of delicious sourdough bread. My family, and I, are over the moon. This is my third workshop with Anna and I would absolutely recommend any of her workshops and clubs. She is a great cook and teacher. She is also so lovely and her kitchen has a great atmosphere. Last but not least...the food we eat there is always so good!!!

A wonderful experience from start to finish (and beyond...)

Anna is a wonderful teacher - straightforward and clear - and creates a very warm and relaxed atmosphere. The class structure was very well designed so that we fitted in the maximum amount and got to really try the whole process for several different types of dough, while also having plenty of time to ask questions and taste different breads along the way too, and without ever feeling rushed.

I am amazed at how much we fitted into one day. I feel inspired both that I can make bread making a part of my rather random and busy schedule and that I will absolutely love doing it!

Can't wait for the next class...!

Exceptionally enjoyably and informate day, both practically and theoretically, Hands on ' experience from start to finish, with a delicious lunch to sample our creations.
Anna has a real gift for creating an informal atmosphere, with a small group of mostly strangers at the start of the Class with inspiring and very high level teaching, explaining many of the technical issues underlying baking good bread,
all embellished with her knowledge of the cuisine and cookery internationally.
All pulled off with great warmth and good humour!

this was such a lovely day!

Learnt loads, really nice people on the course, Anna charming- well organised, imaginative, we got through a load of work and learning. This was a Christmas present from my daughters- such a wonderful idea. I would absolutely recommend Anna as a cook, baker and teacher. She has a unique, friendly and professional atmosphere in her house. So its nice and intimate, but well equipped, highly efficient.

Super altogether!
