Valentines Special at The Proud Archivist: Nicos Popupalot’s Lobster Love-in.
We have invited pop-up restauranteur Nicos Popupalot to bring his magical Lobster Love-in to The Proud Archivist for Valentines night.
Nicos’ The Lobster Pot was in Metro’s top 5 pop-ups of 2013. Since then he has hosted the delightfully named Pie Mash ‘n’ Ravey, Grub Med and Filthy’s reef and beef.
Specialising in his passion, seafood, Nicos and his team visit Billingsgate on Valentine’s morning to bring the freshest catch straight to your table.
Set Menu £50 includes food entertainment and oodles of romance:
*Glass of Prosecco on arrival
*Grilled scallops, spinach puree, café de Paris butter and shallot rings
*Shared bucket of Canadian Lobster, mussels, clams, tiger prawns, crayfish, Devon crab claws all gently cooked in a signature bisque sauce.
*Gin and cucumber sorbet to finish
Live acoustic music from John Drain (this man’s dulcet tones will keep the love alive all through dinner)
