Are bears, vodka and the KGB a thing of the past?
Who are modern Russians?
What are their views and beliefs?

On Thursday, 6 December 2012 RussianMind Club together with Russian Revels host an exciting evening devoted to Russians without Stereotypes. Come and have your say. Come and enjoy others thoughts on the subject. Come and eat, drink and have fun!

We start “clubbing” at 7pm in central London at 37 Kensington High Street London W8 5ED

The evening incorporates a lot of interesting things to satisfy you:
• An Interactive panel discussion with speakers from different fields: David Gillespie, Professor at the University of Bath; Richard Royal, Chairman of Conservative Friends of Russia; Maryana Sukhorukova, Institute of Cultural Studies.
• A Theatrical performance by the young and provocative EVE Theatre, which shows you the unknown before facets of CIS and its people
• The Gastronomical Club by Russian Revels (russianrevels.co.uk) that is revolutionising the image of Eastern-European food in London. A thought-provoking and delicious culinary tour of little nibbles will let you ponder over and savour what Russian cuisine is ‘really’ about. Additionally, a tasting of black caviar to prove that some stereotypes are not that bad…
• Cocktails with Russian Standard vodka
• Efficient networking with established middle-class professionals, who are working in the different fields: businesses, corporations, cultural institutions, as well as international organisations, universities etc.
• And some more surprises…

After all, you can take a FREE copy of RussianMind, an exclusive and the most objective publication about Russians in the UK, which covers in depth the theme of stereotypes.

All these pleasures you get for a symbolic entrance fee - £20.00 (+ £1.40 booking fee)
