We are very excited for our June Pop up not only it's in a great location but also it's our summer menu!
Since chef Mae's appearance on Mary Berry's Easter feast making her Filipino Lechon (slow roasted pork belly) many of our followers have requested for her to add lechon to the next Menu. There will be some street food, BBQ and Filipino favourites on the Menu too!
This is for a 3 course Filipino meal at TRAILER HAPPINESS in Portobello Road.
When booking please make sure that you and your guests send us a list of your orders, fail to do this might cause delays or disappointment. You can choose any 2x street, 1x Main, 1x side and 1 dessert.
MENU
STREET
Inihaw na pak pak
BBQ chicken wings marinated overnight with soy, achiote and garlic. Grilled and glazed with
banana ketchup, honey and soy
Isaw
Grilled BBQ stick of pork intestine served with spiced vinegar - a real Filipino favourite!
Ukoy
Deep fried shrimp fritters with bean sprouts, carrots and spring onions served with pineapple and
chili sauce
MAIN
Pepe’s Lechon *as seen on Mary Berry’s Easter Feast
Slow roasted pork belly cooked with lemongrass, bay leaves, spring onions and seasoning
served with homemade liver sauce and atchara (pickled green papaya)
Lumpiang Sariwa
Stir fried bamboo shoots, green beans, mushrooms and pak choi wrapped in freshly made
pancakes served with warm garlic sauce and sprinkled with toasted peanuts
SIDES
Plain Jasmine Rice
Adobo Rice - chicken adobo sauce mixed into jasmine rice
Steamed Kangkong - Steamed morning glory or water spinach served with optional alamang (sautéed shrimp paste)
DESSERT
Halu –Halo
Shaved ice with sweetened banana, sugar palm, jackfruit, pandan jelly, young coconut
topped with leche flan, ube ice cream, evaporated milk and rise crispies
Homemade Ice cream
