This month I’ve carried over the January detox theme into February, although I know some of you may have entered into February retox mode already, but the feel good aspect I think will fit with any month. This theme has come in the form of grapefruits, which I feel is in a way a detox, ‘health’ stereotyped fruit.
Here I’ve tried to get it into all of the menu in some way.. and not just by serving up half a grapefruit with each course. So although the idea may appear at first a little scary I have a good feeling about this one and think we should give it go.
So here is the menu:
Seafood Tempura and Aniseed Aioli
with Roast Fennel and Citrus Salad with a Grapefruit Dressing
Harissa Marinated Fish with Red Grapefruit Salsa
Roast Aubergine, Black Garlic, Chilli Broad Beans with a Grapefruit Gremolata
Coriander Crushed Potatoes
Grapefruit Meringue Tart with Gin and Tonic Sorbet
