Thursday, October 1st is World Vegetarian Day and to celebrate we will be hosting our Southern Supper Club with all the trimmings! 

Going strong for over a year now, Gumbo Galley is serving up true New Orleans flavours in London. Chef Nataleigh René, a expat originally from the deep south invites you to try her unique vegetarian soul food. 

Our supper club is held in a luxurious private home in Marylebone. Family style dining at one long candle-lit table (seating 14) awaits to lead you on a journey to experience the music, food and charm of the Crescent City.


Welcome drink: Roffignac, named after the French mayor of New Orleans in the 1820's this is a strong and refreshing cocktail of bourbon, raspberry shrub and soda

New Orleans Cream Tea: Cornbread and buttermilk biscuits with house made butter, green tomato chow chow and spicy pepper jelly

Salad: Blue Ribbon Salad, buttermilk blue cheese dressing served with raw veggie ribbons of kale, asparagus, yellow squash, zucchini and carrot – topped with roasted pecans

Main course: Stone ground cheddar grits, triple marinated tofu, red eye gravy

Dessert: Pecan cream cake with cafe au lait ice cream

This was my first ever Supper Club experience, and now I'm addicted! The Gumbo Gallery has a gorgeous, relaxing and welcoming setting which made you feel comfortable and at home straight away.
The food was exceptionally good! I'm vegetarian and Nataleigh managed to surprise me with her great variety and creativity in ingredients and spices! What a lovely meal!
And it's definitely not one of those places that you leave hungry, we were all about to explode and hardly managed to finish dessert!
Definitely recommend anyone to go to Gumbo Gallery - amazing night!
